Meet the Artist
NYC based artist Hazal Ozturk (born in Turkey) is an acrylic artist, maker and designer. She works as a UX Designer by day, and makes art by night.
Ozturk’s works show the emotions in a very pure form. She focuses on being at the moment and also communicating the feelings of that moment through art. Her diverse cultural background helps her to see the world from different perspectives and she reflects this to her art.
Ozturk uses primarily acrylic on canvas. She also has mixed media and paper series.
Since 2018, her works have been exhibited in more than 10 galleries, institutions and public collections.
She has almost 20 artwork in private art dealer collections around the world. Besides, she has been renting her artwork to the films since 2020.
Ozturk has achieved both local and national recognition with public art commissions.
She has been featured in Press multiple times.
