Hazal Ozturk's Interview on PBS

Hazal Ozturk has achieved both local & national recognition with showings in galleries and art venues from Nebraska (Lincoln) to New York (NYC, Yonkers, Albany, Saratoga Springs, Troy).


She is on the board of Albany Center Gallery in Albany, NY and she is one of the selected artists for Albany’s ​Downtown is Pawsome public art project. Her painted sculpture, “​Happy Puppy​” has been on display at Discover Albany Visitors Center in Albany, NY and it’s in the city’s permanent collection.


One of her works, “The Universe, 2017”, was selected to be on display at Capital Rep Theater‘s “Paris Time” show between January to February, 2018.


Her 2 pieces were selected to be in Owen Wilson’s “Paint” movie that was shot in Saratoga Springs in summer of 2021.


She was featured in PBS - WMHT Public Media’s AHA! A House for Arts show (video is above).


Albany Times Union featured her on their Women’s History Month section in March, 2021.


One of her pieces was listed in The Abstract Mag’s second edition.
